Privacy Policy

The short version
We collect the minimum needed to run ScrollCoder: your account info from Google sign-in, and the answers you submit so we can grade them and track your progress. We don't sell your data, run ads, or share your information with anyone except the services that power the product.
What we collect
- Account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your email address, display name, and avatar.
- Your activity. The answers you submit, the grades they receive, and problems you like or bookmark. This powers your progress history.
- Cookies. A session cookie to keep you signed in, and a counter cookie that tracks free demo evaluations on the landing page. No third-party advertising or analytics cookies.
How your answers are processed
When you submit an answer, its text is sent to Google's Gemini API to be evaluated. Answers are sent without your name or email attached. Google's handling of API data is governed by their Gemini API terms.
Where data lives
Account and activity data is stored with Supabase (our database and authentication provider). We keep it for as long as your account exists.
Your rights
You can request a copy of your data or deletion of your account and everything tied to it at any time. Email us and we'll handle it within 30 days.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we'll note the new date at the top of this page.
